El Veenpark es un museo al aire libre neerlandés cerca del pueblo Drentse de Barger-Compascuum en la municipalidad de Emmen.
El museo se fundó en el año 1966. La colonia de turba Barger-Compascuum cumplió cien años en ese año. Con motivo de ello, se organizó una exposición al aire libre, donde se colocaron algunos antiguos cabañas de turba, llamadas plaggenhutten. Así se sentó la base para el posterior museo al aire libre, que actualmente abarca 160 hectáreas y es, por tanto, el museo al aire libre más grande de los Países Bajos. La exhibición al aire libre tuvo un efecto atractivo: se donaron herramientas y utensilios antiguos para el museo. También se pudo ampliar el número de antiguas viviendas, gracias al apoyo del gobierno nacional.
