Le Veenpark est un musée en plein air néerlandais situé près du village de Barger-Compascuum dans la commune d'Emmen.
Le musée a été fondé en 1966. La colonie de tourbière de Barger-Compascuum célébrait alors son centenaire. À cette occasion, une exposition en plein air a été organisée, où notamment quelques vieilles cabanes de tourbe, appelées « plaggenhutten », ont été installées. Cela a posé les bases du futur musée en plein air, qui couvre aujourd'hui 160 hectares et est ainsi le plus grand musée en plein air des Pays-Bas. L'exposition en plein air a eu un effet d'attraction : de vieux outils et instruments ont été donnés au musée. Le nombre de vieilles maisons a également pu être augmenté, grâce notamment au soutien du gouvernement national.
