Il Veenpark è un museo all'aperto olandese vicino al villaggio Drentse di Barger-Compascuum nel comune di Emmen.
Il museo è stato fondato nel 1966. La colonia di torba di Barger-Compascuum compiva in quell'anno cento anni. In occasione di ciò è stata allestita una mostra all'aperto, dove sono stati esposti tra l'altro alcuni vecchi "veenkeetjes", chiamati "plaggenhutten". Con questo è stata gettata la base per il successivo museo all'aperto, che oggi comprende 160 ettari ed è quindi il più grande museo all'aperto dei Paesi Bassi. La mostra all'aperto ha avuto un effetto attrattivo: vecchi strumenti e attrezzi sono stati donati per il museo. Il numero delle vecchie abitazioni è stato ampliato, anche grazie al supporto del governo centrale.
