En un lado del Mercado se alza la torre de la iglesia de Geertruida y en el otro lado no puedes pasar por alto la torre de refrigeración de la Amercentrale. Mucho se compensa con los hermosos tilos a ambos lados del Mercado, que también ocultan un poco los coches aparcados. Tómate tu tiempo para admirar los muchos edificios históricos, como por ejemplo el antiguo Ayuntamiento, Markt 32-34 o la Casa De Roos, Markt 46 y el antiguo Orfanato en el nr. 52.
