Da un lato della Markt svetta la torre della Geertruidskerk e dall'altro lato non puoi fare a meno della torre di raffreddamento dell'Amercentrale. Molto viene compensato dai bellissimi tigli su entrambi i lati della Markt, che nascondono anche un po' le auto parcheggiate. Prenditi del tempo per ammirare i molti edifici storici, come ad esempio il vecchio Municipio, Markt 32-34, o Casa De Roos, Markt 46 e il precedente Ospizio al n. 52.
