Conocida como la torre del Ayuntamiento de Neptuno, dios romano del Mar. Todo comenzó en el siglo XIV cuando se construyó una sala donde hoy se encuentra este edificio, entonces el antiguo ayuntamiento situado al lado de la Dikke Toren fue sustituido. Pero no fue hasta mediados del siglo XVI que se decidió ampliar el edificio. Se erigió la torre octogonal de estilo renacentista con la estatua de Neptuno en la parte superior. En aquella época, con la nueva construcción de este edificio, aparecieron las bodas de lujo. Aunque parece un edificio simple, es rico en artes decorativas, aunque sin excesos. Hoy en día se encuentra el Museo Municipal que explica la historia de la ciudad de Zierikzee.
