Batavia es un barrio en las zonas de Biezen y el área industrial y portuaria en Nimega. El barrio se encuentra a orillas del río Waal en las áreas urbanas de Nimega-Oud-West y Nimega-Nieuw-West.
El barrio se construyó en dos fases entre 2015 y 2018 en el área entre el antiguo complejo Honig, el puente urbano de Oversteek, la Weurtseweg y el Waal. Entre 1913 y 2015 fue una zona industrial. En total, el barrio contará con 500 viviendas en propiedad y en alquiler. El barrio Batavia constará de tres partes, a saber: Batavia Norte con viviendas de alquiler, Batavia Sur con viviendas en propiedad y Fort Krayenhoff. Las viviendas en Batavia Sur están construidas en un estilo que se asemeja al de las viviendas del siglo XIX en Nimega-Oost y Bottendaal. El barrio inicialmente iba a llamarse Koningsdaal.
