Refugio para el Grupo de Golpe de Norte Drenthe.
El 18 de marzo de 1945 se realizó aquí un escondite para fugitivos, que fue bautizado como "El Cuartel del Príncipe Bernhard". Esta placa conmemorativa ha sido colocada por las asociaciones históricas de Diever y Appelscha, después de que localizaron aquí los restos del escondite. En la placa conmemorativa se narra la historia de este lugar tan singular.
