La Isla de Banholt es un objeto geológico en el sur de Limburg, Países Bajos, y forma parte de la Meseta de Margraten. Es una zona elevada característica en el paisaje de colinas, con su punto más alto en las cercanías del pueblo de Banholt. La altura inicialmente formó, junto con la altura de Hallembaye en el suroeste y la altura de Ubachsberg en el noreste, la ladera norte del valle del Oostmaas. Cuando el Maas rompió la alta ladera del valle y desvió su curso hacia el oeste, la altura se convirtió en una isla que, como resultado de la continua erosión del Maas, comenzó a sobresalir cada vez más sobre el valle respecto a otros ríos. De esta manera, la altura formó una separación entre los valles del Oostmaas y del Westmaas.
