La finca de 88 hectáreas está situada en una duna de arena que se extiende a lo largo de la orilla occidental del Dommel entre los lugares de Boxtel y Sint-Michielsgestel. Alrededor de 1900, esta arena, en la que se habían formado varios estanques debido a la erosión eólica, fue plantada con pino silvestre. Gradualmente, se ha desarrollado un bosque de abedules y robles.
En la finca se encuentra un montículo funerario de la Edad del Bronce.
