Hoy la última etapa de Vijlen a Valkenburg. Después de un abundante desayuno en el Hotel Restaurant Vijlerhof, comenzamos el camino. Hoy una ruta con mucho terreno abierto, lo que ofrece vistas espectaculares del paisaje circundante.
Aproximadamente a la mitad de la ruta, escalamos el Gulperberg. Aquí hay muchos bancos, un buen momento para una parada, abajo en el pueblo de Gulpen también hay mucha oferta de restauración.
El último tramo transcurre por un paisaje de colinas ondulantes, a la derecha y a la izquierda del camino hay campos con patatas, remolachas o maíz. En Valkenburg hacemos un pequeño recorrido turístico por las Wilhelminatoren, la ruina del castillo y, a través de la Grendelpoort, un recorrido por las calles comerciales. Desde allí nos dirigimos al coche (o a la estación de tren de Valkenburg)
