Le centre géographique de la Belgique est situé à Nil-Saint-Vincent, une paroisse de la commune de Walhain, dans la province du Brabant wallon. En 1989, l’Institut géographique national a recalculé le centre géographique de la Belgique. Il a d’abord été concédé à la commune d’Itter, mais n’a pas tenu compte de l’ajout des Cantons de l’Est après le traité de Versailles en 1919. Un petit monument, inauguré le 22 août 1998, mentionne le contexte historique (en néerlandais, français et allemand) et indique l’emplacement exact : 50° 38' 28 » N, 04° 40' 05 » E
