Le port de De Meerpaal est situé dans les bois, le long du canal de Bocholt-Herentals, à environ neuf kilomètres du centre de Lommel. De Meerpaal dispose de quarante places de port avec des installations de luxe. Pour chaque yacht, il y a des branchements électriques. Le port est éclairé et des installations sanitaires sont présentes. Dans le port, il y a une taverne accueillante. De plus, divers itinéraires de cyclisme et de randonnée sont balisés à proximité immédiate du port.
