Il porto turistico De Meerpaal si trova nel bosco, lungo il canale di Bocholt-Herentals, a circa nove chilometri dal centro di Lommel. De Meerpaal dispone di quaranta posti barca con servizi di lusso. Per ogni yacht ci sono allacciamenti elettrici. Il porto è illuminato e ci sono servizi igienici disponibili. Nel porto è presente una taverna accogliente. Inoltre, nelle immediate vicinanze del porto turistico sono stati tracciati diversi percorsi per biciclette e passeggiate.
