À côté de la Fondation de Boudelo se trouve la Heirnisse, une réserve naturelle gérée par l'Agence pour la Nature et les Forêts. Dans la forêt située ici à gauche de la piste cyclable, on trouve entre autres le bouleau brut, le noisetier, le chêne américain et l'érable commun. Entre la piste cyclable et la forêt, vous pouvez voir une bande d'herbe où poussent diverses herbes, y compris la vraie fleur de coucou.
