Cette stèle de pierre est dédiée au roi Albert.
On y lit : "Sur le sommet où il séjourna souvent, le roi Albert Ier se tint longtemps à l'automne 1933. Lors de son dernier voyage solitaire au cœur de nos forêts".
Le roi Albert Ier, né le 8 avril 1875, était le 3e roi des Belges. Il régna du 23 décembre 1909 au 17 février 1934. A cette date, il mourut dans un accident d'escalade à Marche-les-Dames.
