Dans quelques années, Het Laar subira une transformation. Les plans pour la réaménagement de la surface en béton sont sur la table depuis des années et ont également été écartés tout autant de fois. Mais maintenant, le district de Borgerhout y met un montant et une date. En 2024, les travaux commenceront pour une nouvelle place avec plus de verdure.
