Des prairies humides, des forêts, des mares et des champs fertiles se succèdent sur votre chemin tandis que vous vous promenez le long de vergers en fleurs. Dans le domaine provincial Het Vinne, vous vous promenez autour du plus grand lac naturel de Flandre. Vous y découvrirez un grand verger d’arbres à haute tige abritant différentes variétés de pommiers et de poiriers. Les fleurs des poiriers sont entièrement blanches, tandis que celles des pommiers ont un liseré rose. Et cette colline singulière à l’entrée de Het Vinne ? Il s’agit d’une motte, une butte fortifiée datant du XIe siècle.
