Tenero-Contra) est une commune suisse de 3 040 habitants du Canton du Tessin, dans le district de Locarno.
La commune, aux portes de Locarno, est située sur le lac Majeur, où la rivière Verzasca se jette dans le Verbano ; sur le territoire communal, une petite partie du lac de Vogorno, formé à la suite de la construction du barrage de Contra sur la Verzasca, est incluse.
