Une tour bien conservée en tant qu'un des vestiges des remparts de la ville d'avant 1200. Pendant un certain temps, elle a servi de prison et a été transformée en château d'eau en 1879, dont un repère de niveau à l'extérieur rappelle encore l'utilisation. Après 1945, on a remplacé le couronnement néo-gothique ultérieur par le toit en tuiles d'origine.
