Le château de Bollendorf dans la commune de Bollendorf se dresse sur un rocher dans la vallée fluviale de la Sauer, sur les fondations d'une ancienne fortification romaine. Le château a été jusqu'à la fin du XVIIIe siècle le siège d'une sous-probosté appartenant à la probosté d'Echternach, qui gérait depuis cet endroit les fermes de Bollendorf, Ernzen et Irrel. Le site est aujourd'hui en propriété privée et est utilisé comme hôtel avec des appartements de vacances et un restaurant.
