Preußnitz est un village allemand situé dans le district de Potsdam-Mittelmark. Avec Kuhlowitz, Preußnitz compte environ 270 habitants sur une superficie de 13 kilomètres carrés. Depuis le 1er juillet 1950, Preußnitz appartient à la commune de Kuhlowitz, qui a été incorporée à Bad Belzig le 31 décembre 2002.
Preußnitz se trouve dans le Belzig Vorfläming, à environ cinq cents mètres au sud de Kuhlowitz et à trois kilomètres au sud-est de Bad Belzig. La Bundesstraße 102 passe devant le village, qui fait partie de l’avenue allemande entre Bad Belzig et Brandebourg-sur-la-Havel. Immédiatement à l’extrémité nord du village commence un nouveau tronçon de la route principale, qui contourne Bad Belzig à l’est et se raccorde à l’ancienne route vers Lütte peu avant Schwanebeck.
