Rašyn est une commune allemande du district d’Oberspreewald-Lausitz, dans le Brandebourg. La communauté fait partie de la municipalité de Nouvelle-Zélande, qui appartient à l’Amt d’Altdöbern et fait partie de la zone de peuplement officielle des Sorbes/Wends.
Ressen est situé en Basse-Lusace. C’est la partie nord de la municipalité de la Nouvelle-Zélande. À l’est et au sud-est, la commune borde Neupetershain. Au nord se trouve le quartier de Greifenhain dans la ville de Drebkau et au nord-ouest le district de Pritzen dans le village d’Altdöbern. À l’ouest et au sud-ouest se trouvent les quartiers de la Nouvelle-Zélande : Lubochow et Bahnsdorf.
