Ressen, Lower Sorbian Rašyn, is a place in the southern Brandenburg district of Oberspreewald-Lausitz. The place is part of the municipality of Neu-Seeland, which belongs to the Altdöbern office and is part of the official settlement area of the Sorbs/Wends.
Ressen is located in Lower Lusatia. The place is the northern part of the municipality of Neu-Seeland. To the east and southeast, the place borders Neupetershain. To the north lies the district of Greifenhain of the town of Drebkau and to the northwest the district of Pritzen of the town of Altdöbern. To the west and southwest, the municipal parts of Neu-Seeland Lubochow and Bahnsdorf are adjacent.
