Le château de Bad König est un complexe cohérent, composé de l'ancien château, du nouveau château, de la régie, de l'église protestante actuelle avec son cimetière fortifié médiéval et du jardin de plaisir. Il se trouve au centre du village de Bad König dans le district d'Odenwald en Hesse.
En 820, le cimetière fortifié est mentionné pour la première fois comme un château, en 1348, il est partiellement la propriété des comtes d'Erbach. Le cimetière fortifié est devenu en 1477 un fief de l'électorat de Mayence pour Konrad Schenk von Erbach, et l'archevêque Dieter d'Isenburg a réservé le droit d'ouverture. Cela révèle que le château et la ville de König devaient être à cette époque dans un état fortifié. Un clocher sur le domaine seigneurial a été construit en 1478.
