Les ruines de l’église de Heinsdorf sont l’ancienne église de village romane tardive de la commune de Heinsdorf, autrefois indépendante. Celle-ci a été unie à Niebendorf en 1957 et appartient depuis 2003 à l’arrondissement de Niebendorf-Heinsdorf dans la ville de Dahme/Mark dans l’arrondissement de Teltow-Fläming dans l’État de Brandebourg. La paroisse appartient au quartier ecclésiastique Zossen-Fläming de l’Église évangélique de Berlin-Brandebourg-Silésie Haute-Lusace.
La route départementale 7208 mène par Heinsdorf-Angerstraße en venant du sud dans le centre-ville historique. Là, la Landstraße 70 bifurque vers l’ouest sous le nom de Heinsdorfer Straße. L’église se trouve au sud-est de cette intersection sur un terrain clôturé.
