Le château de Ruppin était un château allemand des plaines du Moyen Âge. Jusqu’au XVIe siècle, il formait le centre politique de la seigneurie Ruppin et du quartier Ruppin qui en est issu. Le Burgstall est situé dans le district d’Alt Ruppin dans la ville de Neuruppin, au nord-ouest de l’État de Brandebourg.
Le château de Ruppin était situé sur l’Amtswerder de l’Alt Ruppin, une péninsule au nord du lac de Ruppin au confluent du Rhin. Il couvrait la traversée de la chaîne de lacs Ruppin, qui divise la terre Ruppiner. En face de l’Amtswerder se trouve l’île de Poggenwerder. Jusqu’au 12ème siècle, on y trouvait le château slave de Ruppin, qui était probablement le quartier général de la tribu wende des Zamzizi.
