Non loin du « pont penché » se trouve un autre site : le pont-canal historique sur le Stever, qui conduisait le canal Dortmund-Ems sur la rivière. Il a été construit en 1894 et est très similaire dans sa construction au viaduc du canal sur la Lippe (voir ci-dessous). L’itinéraire se poursuit ensuite jusqu’à la barrière historique d’Olfen, avec laquelle la fin de l’Alte Fahrt est presque atteinte.
