L’ancienne collégiale Saintes-Élisabeth et Marie est une église paroissiale protestante située dans la ville de Rotenburg an der Fulda, dans le quartier hessois de Hersfeld-Rotenburg.
Le monastère, fondé en 1353 dans la vieille ville de Rotenburg près de l’église paroissiale de Saint-Jakobi par le landgrave Heinrich II, connu sous le nom de Der Eiserne, a été transféré en 1357 dans l’ancien hôpital Elisabeth. Selon l’inscription du bâtiment sur la tour du chœur sud, la construction de la nouvelle église gothique a commencé en 1370. En 1379, le chœur du monastère est achevé et la construction de la nef, qui reste initialement inachevée, commence.
