Depuis le début du chemin "Am Englischen Hügel", vous avez une vue sur la ligne de chemin de fer d'Elten à Emmerich. Un peu plus à l'est, cette ligne (en raison de l'espace limité) a été construite contre la pente raide de la colline de moraine juste à côté de la rivière frontalière "Die Wild". En dessous, s'écoulait autrefois un bras principal du Rhin qui a emporté de grandes parties de la moraine.
"Am Englischen Hügel" vous mène du bord de la moraine à 26 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer vers le sommet "Hoch-Elten" à 77 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer.
