All'inizio della strada "Am Englischen Hügel" si affaccia sulla linea ferroviaria che va da Elten a Emmerich. Un po' più a est, questa linea ferroviaria (poiché c'era poco spazio) è stata costruita contro la ripida pendenza della morena accanto al piccolo fiume di confine "Die Wild". Lì sotto scorrevano un tempo un ramo principale del Reno che ha eroso grandi parti della morena.
"Am Englischen Hügel" vi conduce dal bordo della morena a 26 m sopra il livello del mare fino alla cima "Hoch-Elten" a 77 m sopra il livello del mare.
