Le cirque de Baiau est un cirque d'origine glaciaire situé à la source de la rivière Noguera de Vallferrera dans la commune d'Alins.
Le cirque de Baiau est défini et fermé par les crêtes et les sommets allant du pic de Lavans, au nord, jusqu'au pic de Vallpeguera. La crête montagnarde entre le pic de Medacorba et le pic de Sanfonts forme la limite frontalière avec le Principat d'Andorre. L'extrémité sud-ouest du cirque est délimitée par le voisin cirque d'Escorbes où se trouvent les lacs homonymes.
