Le musée du pays d’Ussel classé Musée de France dans un ensemble de quatre bâtiments, propose un ensemble de collections d’art et traditions populaires, de tapisseries de la Marche, de matériel d’imprimerie et d’art religieux.
- L’Hôtel Bonnot de Bay du XVIIIe : vitrines abritant les outils des artisans d’autrefois (sabotier, menuisier, forgeron, tisserand).
- La Maison Moncourier-Beauregard : on y découvre tous les objets utilisés pour la préparation, la cuisson et la conservation des aliments. On y a installé aussi l‘atelier du bourrelier.
- L’imprimerie : cœur du musée, il accueille des machines provenant de deux imprimeries ayant fonctionné à Ussel... L’été, l’artiste plasticien et lithographe Patrick Sauvat anime des stage litho !
