Description

Surnommée le "Knochenheiler" de Berig : un guérisseur qui a marqué les esprits. Célèbre pour ses dons incontestés de rebouteur, mais aussi pour sa grande générosité. Il soignait par charité les gens et les bêtes à une époque et dans une région où les médecins étaient rares. Il est décédé le 13 juillet 1850 à Bérig-Vintrange, et repose dans le cimetière communal. Son épitaphe rend hommage au grand homme qu'il était.
