Ce site présente un monument avec plaques commémoratives, en souvenir de la Victoire de Lorraine.
En effet, c'est à Rozelieures que l’armée française remporta sa première grande victoire depuis le début de la Grande Guerre. Le 25 août 1914, l'offensive allemande tenta de passer en force entre Rozelieures et Saint-Rémy-aux-Bois, dans le but de franchir le lieu dénommé "la trouée de Charmes". Mais l'armée française résista victorieusement, ce qui permit de freiner l'invasion ennemie.
