À quelque pas des "rochers de la Bande Noire" est située une petite grotte. Celle-ci surplombe de quelques mètres le ruisseau du Nesselbach qui descend du plateau lorrain. Cette "grotte des Amoureux" a dû servir d'abri pour les soldats de la garnison de Phalsbourg qui y amenaient leurs amoureuses. Enfin, il faut aimer, car cette grotte très humide est quand même très inconfortable. La grotte et la source sont ici associées à la fécondité.
Comment y accéder : de Phalsbourg, prendre la D104G vers la Petite Pierre. Traversez le village de Buchelberg, puis arrêtez-vous sur le départ du chemin forestier à droite, à la limite Moselle/Bas-Rhin après la traversée du ruisseau du Nesselbach. La "grotte des Amoureux" est sur la gauche, 50 m avant.
