Le delta du ruisseau Saint-Jacques est situé sur la rive ouest du lac de Longemer. Le site occupe 6 ha du lieu-dit l'Envers de Longemer. Il constitue l'un des derniers rivages lacustres naturels des Vosges. Ses rives accueillent une faune et une flore exceptionnelles, comme les derniers herbiers lacustres des Vosges. Localisé entre la chapelle Saint-Florent et le site archéologique de la butte Bilon, le delta est également riche d'un patrimoine historique, entre mythe et réalité.
