Située entre Auch et l'Isle-Jourdain, Gimont est une bastide pleine de charme.
Fortement réputé pour ses marchés au gras associés à la cuisine de bons foies gras et autres produits dérivés du canard, ce coin du Gers recèle également un très agréable patrimoine naturel.
Découvrir les vallons du Gers lors d'une randonnée ou sur le chemin de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle, taquiner le poisson sur l'un des deux plans d'eau (2ème catégorie), faire une partie de tennis ou de pétanque, voilà un panel d'activités que vous pourrez y pratiquer.

Le plan d'eau de Cahuzac de Gimont est également réputé pour son espace réservé aux campings-caristes. Une "Borne Cathare" camping-car vous permettra de vous installer agréablement au bord du lac.
