Une montée plutôt courte qui constitue surtout une interruption très désagréable de votre rythme. Depuis Bourscheid-Moulin, vous grimpez d'abord à travers un petit tunnel frais avant de parcourir encore un petit kilomètre en ligne vers Lipperscheid. En venant de la direction d'Unterschlinder, vous longerez un muret en pierre naturelle en montant progressivement jusqu'à un large virage d'où vous pouvez sentir le sommet, mais vous devez encore mordre pour l'atteindre réellement. Il est possible de prolonger l'ascension jusqu'en haut du village, où se trouve un grand hôtel et une route automobile importante. Cependant, cela n'est pas fait dans l'itinéraire Carrefour de Bourscheid.
