La ville de Tétouan ; arabe : تطوان , du berbère « Tiṭṭawin », « yeux », par extension « sources », du fait de ses nombreuses sources d'eau) est une ville du Maroc, située dans le nord du pays, dans le Rif occidental, aussi appelé pays Jbala.
La ville est située à environ 60 km au sud-est de la ville de Tanger et à proximité du détroit de Gibraltar, dans une vallée creusée par l'oued Mhannech dans les montagnes de la chaîne calcaire du Rif au nord et au sud. Près de Tétouan, on trouve plusieurs villes côtières très touristiques comme M'diq et Martil, et des villages de vacances comme Marina Smir et Cabo Negro.
