Groot Poelgeest était un château près de Koudekerk aan den Rijn dans la province néerlandaise de Hollande-Méridionale. C'était un château d'eau rond. Il ne reste maintenant qu'une des tours et une remise à carrosses datant de 1648. Le château a probablement été construit vers 1250 lorsque les seigneurs de Poelgeest sont venus s'installer dans les environs. La maison a été partiellement détruite en 1420 lors des querelles de Hoekse et Kabeljauwse, mais aussi plus tard pendant la Guerre de Quatre-vingts ans, lorsque les seigneurs de Poelgeest se sont ralliés à Guillaume d'Orange.
