De plus en plus d'agriculteurs cessent leur activité. Parfois, un agriculteur fait le pas d'utiliser les terres et prairies libérées pour le développement d'un nouveau domaine. Diverses aides financières rendent une telle transition attrayante pour les agriculteurs. Vous devez cependant répondre à certaines conditions pour être éligible à ces aides. Le domaine Kraaiveld est un tel projet et fait 73 hectares. Un bois de feuillus et des prairies fleuries seront aménagés, ainsi qu'un certain nombre d'allées. Parmi les 13 maisons qui seront construites, 8 seront situées sur une île. Le projet de démarrer une ferme de soins n'a pas abouti, mais un nouveau départ est en préparation.
