Pour le prochain endroit, faites demi-tour et tournez à droite vers la Brink. Sur le trottoir de l'autre côté du passage pour piétons (en été devant le stand de poffertjes) se trouve une pierre plate avec un texte de Gerrit Achterberg. Cette phrase du Kermesse d'été a été écrite par Achterberg en souvenir de sa visite à la foire de Laren, qui se tenait autrefois sur la Brink. Nikki van Es a proposé l'idée, Karin Wielenga a réalisé le design et Sacha de Leeuw a sculpté les lettres. La pierre est un don de Chris de Haan lors de son départ en tant qu'exploitant du stand de poffertjes le 22 mai 1991.
