Le fort Pinssen était un fort du 17ème siècle qui faisait partie de la ligne d'eau de West-Brabant, la série de forts, de tranchées et de zones d'inondation reliant Bergen op Zoom et Steenbergen.
Le fort a été construit en 1628 entre le fort De Roovere et le fort Moermont dans le but de combler un trou dans la plaine d'inondation autour de Halsteren. En 1816, le fort a été désaffecté et, au fil du temps, il a été envahi par la végétation, bien qu'il soit encore reconnaissable depuis les airs.
Le fort n'est pas accessible, mais les fossés asséchés et le fort peuvent encore être vus depuis la route.
