La Villa Honk est un monument municipal situé dans la Van Beverninghlaan et le parc Van Bergen IJzendoorn à Gouda.
La commande pour la construction de la Villa Honk a été donnée par l'ancien résident de Palembang, I.A. Rijn van Alkemade. Il a acheté le terrain dans le parc Van Bergen IJzendoorn à la municipalité de Gouda en 1910. La villa a probablement été conçue par l'architecte W. Kromhout. Il a conçu la villa dans le style dit Um 1800. L'architecte a intégré dans son design divers éléments qui rappelaient le passé indien de son client. Ainsi, le dôme sur le toit a pris la forme d'un casque tropical. La véranda avec les piliers à l'avant était également un rappel du passé colonial du client. Au moment de la construction, il existait une vue dégagée de l'avant en direction du Nouveau Parc. Après la construction de la maison Elisabeth en 1919, cette vue n'était plus possible. Les lions rieurs à l'entrée de la maison Elisabeth seraient un symbole de joie malicieuse face à cette vue disparue.
