En 1841, une paroisse a été fondée et une église a été construite. Depuis 1885, St. Willebrord est un lieu de pèlerinage, au cours de cette année une grotte de Lourdes a été construite. En 1925, une nouvelle église a été construite. Le projet initial du pasteur Bastiaansen, une représentation des basiliques de Lourdes, a été développé par l'architecte Jacques van Groenendael. Devant l'église se trouve un parc de procession.
