Nel 1841 fu fondata una parrocchia e fu costruita una chiesa. Dal 1885 St. Willebrord è un luogo di pellegrinaggio, e quell'anno fu costruita una grotta di Lourdes. Nel 1925 fu costruita una nuova chiesa. Il progetto originale del parroco Bastiaansen, una rappresentazione delle basiliche di Lourdes, fu sviluppato dall'architetto Jacques van Groenendael. Di fronte alla chiesa c'è un parco per le processioni.
