I 1841 blev der grundlagt en menighed og bygget en kirke. Siden 1885 har St. Willebrord været et pilgrimsmål, i det år blev en Lourdesgrotte bygget. I 1925 blev en ny kirke bygget. Det oprindelige design af præst Bastiaansen, en fremstilling af basilikaerne i Lourdes, blev udarbejdet af arkitekten Jacques van Groenendael. For kirken er der en procesionspark.
