La storia del Cavallo da tiro belga è molto affascinante, in particolare per il comune di Vollezele. Il Cavallo da tiro belga è talvolta chiamato patrimonio culturale vivente del Belgio. In modo molto giustificato, ha quindi ricevuto la sua statua sabato 12 agosto 2000 in Piazza dei Veterani a Vollezele. Ron Deblaere di Lichtervelde è l'artista che ha immortalato Brillant in bronzo. È un regalo a Vollezele dell'azienda Beaulieu di Wielsbeke.
