Nel lato est della Grote Markt puoi ammirare la facciata a gradoni tardo-gotica del monastero delle Suore Grigie. Qui si trovava in passato una casa patrizia con accanto una casa rinascimentale che fu trasformata in locanda De Gouden Leeuw a metà del 17° secolo. Nel 1678 le Suore Grigie vivevano già a Roeselare, precisamente nella casa 'Den Hert'. Tuttavia, acquistarono la locanda nel 1683, per trasferirsi lì 2 anni dopo. Nella facciata ancora autenticamente conservata si trova una statua della Madonna.
